trippin all over

this person i met..

over sugared-biscuits, milo and dying fires,
heated irritated exchanges and discussions, last min proposals and screamings from a certain irate teacher
super cold tiring nites on bugs infested islands

and over the years:
mostly me complaining and he listening
2am weepy phone calls (from me again), mumbles of encouragement and support from him
a peek beyond the cool "i dont give a damn" persona, a mild understanding of (his) complex mind
insensitivities, tantrums and getting pissed off.. and then apologies, ribbing and bygones

Promised to always be my wings and fren
Restless and mostly difficult to comprehend
Especially beloved and appreciated
So this is for u - thanks for being u for me
