midweek evening review
restaurant: Manhattan Fish Market, Plaza Sing (definately nicer than fish & co. and slightly cheaper)dish: coleslaw w raisins, seafood chowder and grilled seafood platter
food review: Coleslaw had fresh crispy lettuce and the raisins gave it a touch of natural sweetness - complemented the slightly tart dressing. Seafood chowder had a tinge of tomato taste ( ay.. its in this orangey base soup so i reckon its tomato?) and bits of squid and 2 slightly tough pieces of fish. nothing fantastic but good enuff if u need something more than just greens for starters. Garlic rice tasted a bit like chicken rice..which was yummy... fish was grilled just right and fresh, but prawns were a bit too salty because of some heavy cream/sauce over it. the platter for 1 person is good for 2 persons if both are not too hungry. Oh! service staff were friendly and my glass was topped up thruout the meal

film : Lucky Number Slevin ,starring : Josh Harnett, Bruce Wills, Morgan Freeman and Lucy Liu.
theatre: The Cathay ( FREEZING - practically shivered my way thru the film, which brings to mind that these days, i seemed to be ALWAYS sitting under the air con vent tt's blasting cold air. sheesh. seat was comfy like the 1 in orchard cine tho, which means tt i could sit any way i want and plenty of legroom for me to stretch my not so long legs)
Film Review: strong cast ( Josh Harnett looks pretty good prancing ard in the 1st 15mins with just a purple flowery towel), predictable storyline, but enjoyable for a weds evening.
